What we liked in this digestive enzyme supplement is that it contains the three key enzymes in it, amylase, protease and lipase. We also liked that it’s vegan-friendly, fruit-based, and cruelty free. It also contains serrapeptase, which is a powerful anti-inflammatory enzyme and amla extract, which is said to promote immune function.
Although these few ingredients are well chosen for this products’ formula, they seem to be the only really good things about. We found plenty of issues with this product, and although we would recommend it as a digestive enzyme supplement that meets our basic standards, there were still a few areas where this supplement was blatantly lacking.

Our issue with this product lies in its effectiveness. It may meet the basic requirements for a digestive supplement, but there are a few things that it does not provide which would kick it up into the realm of being considered fully beneficial. Firstly, the formula does not contain any fiber or lactose digesting enzymes. Besides the protein enzymes, there is no variety of different enzymes for different digestive purposes. It seems that the ingredients skimped out on the variety in favor of focusing on certain issues. This is a problem, and it doesn’t really help this product when it’s compared to more enzyme-rich competitors. Secondly, there is no stomach acidifier for aiding in pH stabilization and low stomach acidity that usually comes hand-in-hand with digestive problems. The further stimulation of digestive enzymes through stomach acidifiers also promote the continued, long term health benefits of digestive enzyme products which allow the consumer to have to rely on the supplement much less over time.
The last issue we have with this product is the fact that there is no nutrient retention booster. Most of the time, people with digestive issues are severely lacking in nutrients because of their inability to properly absorb them from the food. The addition of an ingredient for increased bioavailability is crucial when attempting to mitigate the issues that may come along with digestive problems. Of course, we also always prefer patented ingredients as they are more reliable for long term effectiveness.
There were very few customer reviews which could have helped us get a better idea of the customer satisfaction frequency. We saw no customer satisfaction guarantee on the website, which is never a great sign. Any company that believes in their product fully should provide some sort of minimal return policy or satisfaction guarantee in order to back up whatever claims they have about it.

It still seems to us to be top quality, with the use of natural and research approved ingredients, which are put to good use in the formula.
